Gwilym Pearce Jones is a fine artist, currently one of the Graduates in Residence at Carmarthen School of Art in Wales.
After completing his Foundation Course in Art & Design at Carmarthen School of Art in 2021, Gwilym decided to continue his studies at the same campus. Since then, Gwilym’s work continues to explore figuration and conveys a strong sense of narrative.
His final year body of work mixed old and new, by referencing old artworks with contemporary imagery all on the same plane.
Gwilym’s current work is still referential of old paintings, but has started to explore the act referencing itself.
